Hand Carved Chalcosiderite Skull: Artifactual Mineral Carving

We were so excited to see the folks from Artifactual again this year in Tucson. Their skulls are amazingly detailed, but are clearly individual and hand-carved--different than the nicely detailed but all-the-same machine carved ones that are out there. It was really hard not to buy all of them.

Chalcosiderite is a rare cousin of turquoise, and its unusual to find carvings with this amazing coloration -- most of this gets used to make cabs for the jewelry trade. This one is amazingly stunning.

It is about 1 5/8" long and weighs 33.9g. It comes in its own box. Price includes shipping insurance and signature required additional cost.
